Ingredients

  • 45ml vodka (1 1/2 oz)
  • 22ml fresh lemon juice (3/4 oz)
  • 22ml honey syrup (3/4 oz)
  • 15ml spiced pear liqueur (1/2 oz)
  • Chilled Champagne or sparkling wine, to top
  • Ice, for shaking
  • Garnish: flamed lemon peel and a sage leaf

Instructions

  1. Combine vodka, lemon juice, honey syrup, and spiced pear liqueur in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake until well-chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Top with Champagne.
  5. Express a lemon peel over a flame and drop in. Garnish with a sage leaf.
