Dry Martini

Ingredients
- 60ml London dry gin (2 oz)
- 10ml dry vermouth (1/3 oz)
- Ice, for stirring
- Garnish: green olive, or lemon peel expressed and discarded
Instructions
- Combine gin and dry vermouth in a mixing glass with plenty of ice.
- Stir for 20-30 seconds until very well-chilled and slightly diluted.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass.
- Garnish with a green olive or, for a 'twist', express the oils of a lemon peel over the drink and either drop it in or discard.
