Aperol Spritzer

Ingredients

  • 3 oz Prosecco
  • 1.5 oz Aperol
  • 1 oz soda water
  • 0.5 oz lemon juice
  • Garnish: orange

Instructions

  1. Build over ice in a wine glass. Add Prosecco, Aperol, soda water and lemon juice. Stir gently and garnish with an orange slice.
A family variant of the Aperol Spritz with added lemon juice. The traditional/IBA Aperol Spritz contains no lemon — it is just the 3-2-1 of Prosecco, Aperol and soda water with an orange garnish. The lemon here is a non-traditional addition; adjust to taste or omit for the classic version.
