Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin purée (355 ml)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (177 ml)
  • 1 tsp ground ginger (4.9 ml)
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg (2.5 ml)
  • 1 1/4 cups milk (296 ml)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (2.5 ml)
  • 1 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (6.2 ml)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves (2.5 ml)
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 (6-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). \n2. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin, sugar, ginger, nutmeg, milk, salt, cinnamon, cloves, eggs, and evaporated milk.\n3. Pour filling into pie crust. \n4. Bake for 1 hour, or until filling is set.
