Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (355 ml)
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder (17.3 ml)
  • 1 tsp salt (4.9 ml)
  • 1 tbsp sugar (14.8 ml)
  • 1 1/4 cups milk (296 ml)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted (44.4 ml)

Instructions

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar into a bowl.
  2. Make a well; add milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  3. Heat lightly oiled griddle over medium-high heat.
  4. Pour about 1/4 cup batter per pancake; brown on both sides and serve hot.
  5. Serve with whipped cream, macadamia nuts, and fruit if desired.
