Crabmeat Ravigotte Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise (237 ml)
  • 2 tbsp minced parsley (29.6 ml)
  • 2 tbsp capers, finely chopped (optional) (29.6 ml)
  • 1 tbsp dry mustard (plus more to taste) (14.8 ml)
  • 1 tbsp creamed horseradish (plus more to taste) (14.8 ml)
  • 2 tbsp chopped pimento (optional) (29.6 ml)
  • 1 hard-cooked egg, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (4.9 ml)
  • 2 cups lump crab meat (or 1 lb can) (473 ml)
  • Dash of Tabasco

Instructions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, parsley, capers, dry mustard, horseradish, pimento, chopped egg, and lemon juice.
  2. Fold in crab meat.
  3. Season with Tabasco and adjust mustard/horseradish to taste.
