Ingredients

  • Special sauce: mayo (1/2 cup)
  • Special sauce: extra virgin olive oil (2 tbsp)
  • Special sauce: buttermilk (2 tbsp)
  • Special sauce: roasted garlic (2 cloves, mashed/minced)
  • Special sauce: smoked cheddar, aged (1/3 cup, minced)
  • Special sauce: black pepper & salt (pinch each)
  • Special sauce: smoked chili puree (1 tbsp)
  • USDA Prime ground beef
  • Brioche bun (dusted with chestnut flour)
  • Condiments: tomato, onion, pickles, lettuce
  • Handmade fries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend special sauce ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Form patties with USDA Prime beef and sear exterior; finish to medium-rare off high heat.
  3. Toast brioche bun (dusted with chestnut flour).
  4. Assemble burger with sauce and condiments.
  5. Serve with fries; sauce works well for them too.
