Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined (680 g)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil (29.6 ml)
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice (14.8 ml)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic (4.9 ml)
  • 1 tsp salt (4.9 ml)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (2.5 ml)
  • Skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.\n2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper. Add shrimp and toss to coat.\n3. Thread shrimp onto skewers.\n4. Grill skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink and opaque.\n5. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
