Beer Can Chicken

Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp paprika (88.7 ml)
- 2 Tbsp pepper (29.6 ml)
- 2 Tbsp kosher salt (29.6 ml)
- 1 Tbsp chili powder (14.8 ml)
- 2 tsp brown sugar (9.9 ml)
- Cayenne pepper, to taste
- Garlic powder
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 can of beer
Instructions
- Combine paprika, pepper, salt, chili powder, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder. Rub the mixture inside and outside the chicken. \n2. Open the beer can and pour out half of the beer. Place the chicken upright over the beer can. \n3. Grill the chicken over indirect heat until cooked through.
Wine Pairing: Bold Red (Syrah) — A full-bodied beer or a robust red wine such as Zinfandel.
