Ingredients

  • 60ml bourbon or rye whiskey (2 oz)
  • 15ml dry vermouth (1/2 oz)
  • 15ml sweet vermouth (1/2 oz)
  • 15ml grenadine (1/2 oz)
  • 7ml fresh lemon juice (1/4 oz)
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Ice, for shaking
  • Garnish: lemon twist

Instructions

  1. Combine whiskey, both vermouths, grenadine, lemon juice, and orange bitters in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake until well-chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Express a lemon twist over the drink and drop it in.
