Ingredients

  • 60ml Elijah Craig bourbon (2 oz)
  • 15ml Cherry Heering (1/2 oz)
  • 15ml Cynar (1/2 oz)
  • 15ml fresh lemon juice (1/2 oz)
  • 7ml Calabrian chile honey (1/4 oz)
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
  • Ice, for shaking
  • Garnish: lemon twist or cherry

Instructions

  1. Combine bourbon, Cherry Heering, Cynar, lemon juice, Calabrian chile honey, and Peychaud's bitters in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake until well-chilled.
  3. Double-strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Garnish with a lemon twist or cherry.
