Piña Colada

Ingredients

  • 50ml white rum (1 3/4 oz)
  • 50ml fresh pineapple juice (1 3/4 oz)
  • 30ml cream of coconut, such as Coco López (1 oz)
  • A few drops of fresh lime juice (optional, to taste)
  • 1 cup crushed ice (237 ml)
  • Garnish: pineapple wedge and a brandied cherry

Instructions

  1. Combine rum, pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and lime juice (if using) in a blender with crushed ice.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and slushy.
  3. Pour into a chilled hurricane or large wine glass.
  4. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a brandied cherry on a pick.
