Man O' War

Ingredients

  • 2 oz good-quality bourbon or rye whiskey
  • 1 oz Cointreau or other orange liqueur
  • 1/2 oz sweet vermouth
  • 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Garnish: brandied cherries or lemon peel

Instructions

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with brandied cherries or a lemon peel.
