Ingredients
- 45ml Rittenhouse rye whiskey (1 1/2 oz)
- 22ml fresh grapefruit juice (3/4 oz)
- 15ml Maraska cherry juice (1/2 oz)
- 7ml cherry-cider vinegar shrub (1/4 oz)
- Ice, for shaking
- Garnish: brandied cherry
Instructions
- Make the cherry-cider vinegar: combine equal parts Luxardo cherry syrup and apple cider vinegar in a jar; keeps refrigerated for weeks.
- Combine rye, grapefruit juice, Maraska cherry juice, and the cherry-cider vinegar in a shaker with ice.
- Shake until well-chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe.
- Drop in a brandied cherry.
