Ingredients

  • 30ml gin (1 oz)
  • 15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (1/2 oz)
  • 15ml simple syrup (1/2 oz)
  • 60ml chilled Champagne or dry sparkling wine (2 oz)
  • Ice, for shaking
  • Garnish: long lemon twist

Instructions

  1. Combine gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake until well-chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled Champagne flute.
  4. Top with Champagne and stir gently once.
  5. Garnish with a long lemon twist.
