Dark 'n' Stormy

Ingredients

  • 60ml Gosling's Black Seal dark rum (2 oz)
  • 120ml chilled ginger beer (4 oz)
  • 7ml freshly squeezed lime juice (1/4 oz, optional)
  • Ice
  • Garnish: lime wedge

Instructions

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice.
  2. Add lime juice (if using) and top with ginger beer.
  3. Slowly pour the Gosling's Black Seal rum over the back of a bar spoon so it floats on top of the ginger beer — the 'dark cloud' over the 'stormy' sea.
  4. Serve with a lime wedge on the rim. Stir just before drinking.
