Aviation Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 60ml gin (2 oz)
  • 22ml fresh lemon juice (3/4 oz)
  • 15ml Luxardo maraschino liqueur (1/2 oz)
  • 7ml Crème de Violette, or Crème Yvette (1/4 oz)
  • Ice, for shaking
  • Garnish: brandied cherry

Instructions

  1. Combine gin, lemon juice, maraschino liqueur, and Crème de Violette in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake until well-chilled.
  3. Double-strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Drop in a brandied cherry.
