French Blue's Scones

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, cold
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1-2 cups fruit

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a Cuisinart; blend.
  2. Cube the butter and pulse until the size of peas.
  3. Pour into bowl and fold in fruit.
  4. Mix eggs and cream; fold into flour mixture.
  5. Cut into triangles, place on lined/greased sheet.
  6. Brush with cream, sprinkle sugar. Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes.
