Classic Buttermilk Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.\n2. In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.\n3. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and whisk gently until just combined. (Lumps are okay.)\n4. Cook waffles in a preheated waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
